MATERS MATER- Alma has a team!!!!! I am thrilled that my hometown finally got a team, but I am wondering if Alma has any chance for the SSS or even the CCC. I work as a Scorekeeper in the Canadian League of Amazingness which is independent from the Smerinadian AAA and Major League Spanish, so I have seen Howie Deauxin (former 1st buzzer on the Alma Knacks.) He is almost always the #1 star, and I have great confidence in him, but I am interested if you think the other players, and Mixu are qualified enough to play in the big league.
LSU_4_EVA- Woot Woot! The new site is up for the new season! Responding to Mater, Alma does look good. I saw their preseason win against Halifax yesterday. Deauxin and Goodman looked especially good, and the Tiggleaux twins were quick too even though they both missed. Mixu is obviously up for the challenge and is more qualified than at least Facts and Someone. Honestly Edmonton is by far the strongest team in Canada, but I think Alma could make the CCC, especially after Vancouver lost 38-28 to Orlando. Predictions Inc. gives odds of 5-2 for the CCC, 6-1 for the SSS, and 14-1 to win it all which is around neutral, but the new teams never have accurate odds. In any case if they make the SSS they are so losing to da fleabusters. GO LOUISIANA!!!!
